Our Staff
The staff at The Learning Place Preschool strive to help our students become successful learners by utilizing a variety of learning methods. We want our students to love learning and to want to come to school each day.
Nursery
Nursery
Christine Wright is the Nursery teacher and has taken on the role of teaching our youngest students. Together, these teachers provide loving, nurturing care to our one-year-old class while introducing these students to the alphabet, phonetic sounds, colors, shapes, and number concepts.
Junior
Riley Rollins teaches our Junior Classes. Through both play and more formal learning opportunities, Ms. Riley will help reinforce socio-emotional development and gross motor development as well as providing an introduction to the alphabet, phonetic sounds, shapes, colors, and number concepts.
Intermediate
Tracey Dimon and Jessica Smith teach our three-year-old students. In the Intermediate classes, our teachers incorporate learning the basics of identifying letters and their sounds, number concepts, pencil positions, and writing through both formal and imaginative play.
Pre-Kindergarten/Adv. Pre-K
Kathy Burnett and Natalie Wroten teach our Pre-Kindergarten students. All of these teachers bring a vast array of knowledge and teaching experience with Miss Kathy holding a teaching certificate. All our Pre-K classes are intended to help prepare our students for Kindergarten with an increased mastery in the areas of letter and number recognition, phonics, writing skills, social skills, art, music, science, and the Bible.
